He designed the Old Course at Sunningdale and Maidstone. Park was considered one of the best putters of all time. This book is basically an early book of instruction but also includes chapters on handicapping and competitions, general remarks on the game, early golf course design principles and the rules of golf. Overall in quite good condition, especially the illustrated cover.
